Last March 7, 2012 Wednesday we conduct our Educational Tour on Two mental institution. First we go to Elsie Gaches Village that located on Alabang all the students are excited to go there because this is the first time to go in mental institution in Elsie Gaches has a beautiful facilities and place on there beacuse it is clean and they have one Psychologist on there, they have a doctors, nurses and dietary on there. The Staff of the Elsie Gaches discuss all the needs of the client on there and how to taking care of them and they conduct a livelihood program for the client, in Elsie Gaches they have 610 clients and they have different cottages for the different client the red, yellow and green cottage and they have profound, upper trainable, lower trainable and severe client. The owner of the Elsie Gaches is Mrs. Elsie Gaches and Mr. Samuel Gaches they donated the place to build a mental institution for those has mentally challenged the students are enjoyed to go there because they learned how to do for the client and how to taking care of those client because the staff discuss to the student. The second is the Sanctuary Center that located at Mandaluyong, City in this institution they don't have a Psycholgist on there they have a home-parent to those client that need a help, they have a nurses and staff on there and before the activities start some of the clients on there gave an intermission number for the student that they visit on them they dance and sung a song that every one enjoyed the program. In Sanctuary Center they have IV ward on there and they have 147 client on there the sanctuary Center is clean and very organized of their everyday activities that they do and the staff gave the needs of all those client like a medicine and also they have a livelihood program for those client they do a bag from a beads. The student that go there they gained more knowledge and every one are very enjoyed to interact to the client and to apply someday the knowledge gained from the two institutions.
